Duties:
As a Behavior Technician, you'll provide one-on-one support to children and adolescents with Autism or other developmental disabilities in their homes. With guidance from a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you'll implement behavior plans, provide parent training, and receive ongoing support for professional growth.
Job Type: Full- Time or Part-time
Salary: Up to $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 to 40 hours per week, generally after school between 3:00pm to 7:30pm , weekend availability is a plus
Experience:
  • Must have a valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a desire to work with young children with autism.
  • Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Educational or work experience in any of the following areas is a plus: babysitting, childcare, elementary education, teaching, classroom aid, paraprofessional, special education, early intervention, day care, preschool, head start, camp counselor, teacher, pediatric healthcare professional, etc.
  • Bilingual applicants are a plus
