About the Role:
Twitch's Enterprise Systems Engineering team develops and maintains services and integrations to manage Twitch employee identity and improve productivity. We are looking for a Systems Development Engineer. With your peers, you’ll help maintain and enhance Twitch’s internal systems including Okta, Google Workspace, ServiceNow, Slack, Atlassian Jira/Confluence, and the glue that connects all of the systems together. You’ll leverage AWS infrastructure to integrate systems or provide self-service tooling to allow our employees to be more productive. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Enterprise Systems Engineering.

You Will:

  1. Build solutions on AWS using CDK to support internal systems
  2. Develop data integrations between applications
  3. Assist in the maintenance and operations of critical third-party infrastructure like Atlassian Jira/Confluence, GitHub Enterprise
  4. Manage configurations for enterprise applications
  5. Create and maintain documentation around processes and workflows important to infrastructure and tooling
  6. Respond to operational issues and requests from internal customers
  7. Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure high availability and prompt incident response

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of programming experience in one of the following languages: Python, Go, or TypeScript
  • 1+ years of experience with several AWS Services and products
  • Experience automating administrative and configuration tasks
  • Good troubleshooting skills at all levels, from application to network to host
  • A basic understanding of infrastructure as code concepts
  • An interest in building, maintaining, and supporting high scale, business critical systems in a cloud environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
