About the Role:

As a Dietary Cook at the Wexford, you will:

  • Prepare meals, desserts, and snacks for all diets according to company standards.
  • Make independent decisions when necessary and handle interactions with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and agencies tactfully.
  • Exhibit leadership and work harmoniously with all staff members.
  • Follow oral and written instructions and maintain cleanliness and order in food service areas.
  • Seek out and incorporate new dietary methods and principles.
  • Serve meals that are both palatable and presentable, adhering to health code requirements.
  • Estimate and prepare food supplies to meet serving portions.
  • Participate in continuing education programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

Experience and Education:

  • At least 17 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least one month of applicable experience or training.

Skills:

  • Ability to effectively able to read and interpret documents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to reason and problem solve.
  • Basic technical skills.

Our Total Rewards package includes a salary range of between $17.25 - $18.25/(hr/yr). DOE
