About the Role:
As a Dietary Cook at the Wexford, you will:
- Prepare meals, desserts, and snacks for all diets according to company standards.
- Make independent decisions when necessary and handle interactions with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and agencies tactfully.
- Exhibit leadership and work harmoniously with all staff members.
- Follow oral and written instructions and maintain cleanliness and order in food service areas.
- Seek out and incorporate new dietary methods and principles.
- Serve meals that are both palatable and presentable, adhering to health code requirements.
- Estimate and prepare food supplies to meet serving portions.
- Participate in continuing education programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
Experience and Education:
- At least 17 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one month of applicable experience or training.
Skills:
- Ability to effectively able to read and interpret documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to reason and problem solve.
- Basic technical skills.

Our Total Rewards package includes a salary range of between $17.25 - $18.25/(hr/yr). DOE
