THE POSITION

We’re looking for a Paid Media Manager to take our advertising program to new heights. This dynamic individual is a master of ad placements, developing strategies that not only follow, but create, industry trends and push the boundaries of what DTC brands employ to generate brand awareness, affinity and, ultimately, revenue. They’re not interested in sticking to best practices or dumping every dollar into Google and Meta. We’re differentiated not only by our products and content, but also in how we engage existing and prospective audiences.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage paid media across various channels such as paid search, paid social, CTV, affiliate, direct mail, OOH, etc.
  • Construction of full-funnel paid media strategy 
  • Implementation and management of an Affiliate Marketing program
  • Full paid media budget ownership, from annual budgeting to incremental allocations based on performance across channels
  • Key contributor on the performance team, working cross-functionally with Creative, E-comm and other stakeholders
  • Management of external agencies as strategy dictates
  • Operate as the thought leader internally for all industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Leader of performance reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis - setting KPIs, pulling reliable metrics, iterating based on successes and failures
  • Evolve PolarPro’s paid media program from best practices to best in class


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years experience in assorted marketing platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Familiarity with non-DR practices like CTV/programmatic, digital billboards, direct mail, other OOH a plus
  • Management of 6-digit annual marketing budgets at a minimum
  • Allocating spends cross-platform depending on performance and goals
  • Management of Affiliate Marketing programs (either in-house or as a managed service)
  • Use of first and third party analytics platforms (Shopify, GA4, Triple Whale, Northbeam, Meta, Google, etc.)
  • Organized, analytical and detail-oriented
  • Scaling paid strategy of 8-figure DTC brand(s)
  • Passion for brand marketing and understanding of the importance of tone, voice and aesthetic and when to make the call between best practice and what’s best for the brand
