Hoosier Racing Tire is a 100% subsidiary of Continental AG.THE POSITION:We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team, providing essential software and hardware support to end-users at our Plymouth and Lakeville locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. This role also involves system backups, IT documentation, task tracking, and scheduled off-hour support.2nd Shift Schedule – 3:00pm – 11:30pm Mon-Fri (30 min unpaid lunch) or 3rd Shift Schedule – 11:00pm – 7:30am Sun-Fri (30 min unpaid lunch)KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide software and hardware support to end-users in both Plymouth and Lakeville locations.Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware including desktop and laptop PCs, printers, and associated network infrastructure.Install software upgrades throughout the facility.Schedule, monitor, and verify system backups.Maintain IT documentation.Be available for scheduled off-hour support, both on-site and remotely, including weekend shifts.Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Effective communication skills, capable of interacting with all levels of management and staff, regardless of their technical skill levels.A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong sense of ownership and customer orientation.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:High School Diploma or GED.Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English.Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift hours, with overtime as needed. This is an on-site position based out of our Plymouth, IN at our manufacturing location.Flexibility and willingness to be available for off-hours & weekend pre-scheduled support (ready to be engaged).Experience in IT support, IT certification, or currently in IT secondary education program required.Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications.Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
