We are a non-profit organization which includes Diakon Senior Living Services and Diakon Child, Family, and Community Ministries.General Responsibilities:Employs a range of social work interventions with client families to facilitate optimal environments for visitation.Makes initial and ongoing case assessments for family needs and strengths with parents, children, and resource parents.Assists parents in identifying and completing goals needed for reunification as outlined by their Family Service Plans.Makes regular contact with clients as well as participates in group functions for children, biological, and foster families as required.Childline & DHS FBI clearance results are required prior to beginning employment.Education/Training: A BA or BS degree in social work, BSW, normally required.Experience: A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a related child welfare or human service position normally required. Experience in social work or case management is essential.ADA: Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.Compensation and Benefits: Diakon offers a competitive compensation and benefits package for Full-Time and Part-Time employees.
