Job Summary:
Serves as the Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator, while also developing content and leading in-person training sessions to all staff.
Essential Functions:
Learning Management System- Serves as the administrator of the Block by Block Learning Management System. Creates and manages training curricula, develops and monitors compliance reporting, ensures entry of credit for all group trainings, provides login support to the field, serves as the help desk for the field, conducts LMS audits as needed, completes assigned training to increase knowledge on LMS administration, and other duties as assigned.
Training Material Development - Brings content to life! Independently develops training materials for the field to include written and visual training based on business needs. Writes scripts for training videos. Stays up to date on current trends, best practices and tools (both internal and external).
Employee Training- Leads training in a variety of content areas for various levels of Block by Block staff. Manages remote large meetings and group training invites, serves as the meeting host, loads recordings and supplemental materials to SharePoint and the LMS.
Manage Training Budget - Works with leadership to understand the training budget and takes ownership of organizing and developing training projects accordingly.
Safety Program Management - Manages aspects of our Stop. Think. Act. Safety Program to include coordinating training content and supporting the Regional Safety Coordinators and site Safety Captains.
SharePoint Administration- Assists with SharePoint administrative support including, but not limited to, uploading documents, updating basic page information, updating contact information, and creating new pages for training purposes.
System Audits - Completes audits of multiple systems at regularly scheduled intervals throughout the year.
Requirements:
- DETAIL ORIENTATION - Must be detailed oriented and resourceful with strong critical thinking, time management, and organizational skills.
- TECHNOLOGICAL - Must be highly proficient in the MS Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT), type 50 or more WPM.
- COMMUNICATION - Must have strong communication skills with ability to understand and explain complicated systems and processes.
- TRAVEL - Periodic travel required for education and content collection.
- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE - Will evaluate candidates based on a mix of education and relevant experience. Experience with Learning Management System administration and SharePoint preferred, but not required. A background in Human Resources preferred, but not required. Video production experience preferred, but not required.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While this position is predominantly desk based, candidate is expected to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
