The role
  • Manage, motivate, mentor and collaborate with multiple team members in a region.
  • Responsible for region achieving quota between $50M-$100M; while delivering results related to key strategic initiatives.
  • Forecast district business accurately and timely.
  • Manage district P&L.
  • Build and strengthen the business relationship with targeted customer executives, partner leaders, and alliance leaders to create a strong ecosystem.
  • Coordinate with Field Marketing to develop and execute regional events.
  • Motivate matrixed resources to engage with the sales team and drive accountability.
  • Set team expectations in alignment with company strategy and manage transformation.
  • Hire, train, and manage performance of team members.
  • Properly report business and sales activity within SFDC.
What you'll bring
  • 10+ years selling resulting in successful quota attainment and 5+ years in sales leadership.
  • Sales expertise in infrastructure, data center, data storage, hybrid cloud storage, data management, and other IT services.
  • Consistent results: commitment to achieving organizational goals and supporting the team in driving and delivering the results.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: understanding customer needs, preferences, and pain points and using this knowledge to shape products, services, and interactions.
  • Leading and Influencing Team: skilled at motivating, mentoring, and empowering their team members to excel and foster a positive work environment to promote professional growth among team members.
  • Accurate Forecasting: well-informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive forces. They should possess a deep understanding of their target market, including customer needs, preferences, and purchasing behavior.
  • Communication: Proactive/Timely: clear, open, and empathetic communication, both with customers and within their teams.
  • Solutions/Value Knowledge: deep understanding of our products and services and proficient at articulating our unique value and benefits.
  • Accountability/Problem Solving: hold team members responsible for their actions and outcomes while also encouraging a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Sales Ecosystem Collaboration and Partnerships: skilled at networking with industry peers, partners, customers, and other relevant contacts.
  • Hiring/Retention: Partner with HR and TA, create comprehensive onboarding programs, engage and retain employees through various initiatives and develop strategies to retain top talent.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Identify organizational goals, prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and create a roadmap for achieving results and then execute.
