The Sr Product Manager will help chart the strategic direction of the digital experience spanning a homeowner’s lifecycle from lending through servicing and support execution against that long-term strategy. This role’s primary focus will be the online application experience and the associated communication touchpoints, including but not limited to bi-directional texting and mobile push notifications.

Product Managers play a critical role in achieving our strategy. They lead teams of designers, engineers, data scientists and analysts to define product strategy and develop, launch, and enhance products and services that drive our business forward. The Sr Product Manager to develop and launch products that will reinvent how we interact with our borrowers, make credit decisions, and manage the health of our portfolio.

Principal Duties

  1. Develop deep understanding of the customer, data, business, and industry to drive definition of strategy and success metrics for our digital products and be accountable for the full product lifecycle.
  2. Talk to customers and users to identify opportunities and uncover untapped needs that inform your product plans, creating value for users and grow the business.
  3. Author use cases and user stories and build shared understanding with cross discipline teams.
  4. Discover opportunities worth pursuing through rapid experimentation via product discovery, A/B testing, and design thinking methods.
  5. Work in a hands-on, collaborative environment with top designers and engineers to build breakthrough experiences and products that solve our users’ most critical needs.
  6. Define and build consensus on meaningful metrics for success.
  7. Coordinate with product peers and their teams to share learnings and ensure quality cross-platform experience.
  8. Apply cutting edge technology like automation, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and predictive analytics to reimagine the way we manage risk.
  9. Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education And Experience Requirements

  1. 5+ years of demonstrated experience in a product role, including experience in financial services.
  2. Experience with building technology-based products, including, launching, and scaling consumer products working with designers, engineers, and data scientists to define customer value propositions.
  3. Significant consumer product management experience and subject matter expertise in financial services.
  4. Ability to lead autonomous work streams and driving progress is key.

  1. Bias to action and a proven track record of shipping successful products to market which exceed user expectations.
  2. Knowledge and passion for emerging technologies and how they are used to empower developers and businesses to deliver great products.
  3. Grounding in human-centered design with a natural empathy for users.
  4. Strategic thinking and an ability to effectively identify opportunities for growth in new businesses and markets.
  5. Significant experience applying analytical rigor to support technology decisions.
  6. Ability to synthesize sophisticated topics and distill key business dynamics.
  7. Structured communication & storytelling skills with all audiences.
  8. Upbeat and collaborative teammate who is passionate about improving the future of homeownership in this new normal.
