Healthcare Account Manager
Job Description:
The Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with referral sources as well as growing the number of qualified admissions from their accounts. They will communicate with representatives from hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and physician offices to provide customer service and feedback on the patients that were referred to services.
Job Qualifications:
* 2-3 years experience in a related field preferred
* Preference will be given to applicants with medical / clinical / healthcare education and/or licensure
* Friendly personality
* Excellent attention to detail
Job Duties:
* Provide customer service to referral sources
* Reply to referral sources with the status of the referral
* Initiate the intake process including insurance verification and initial telephone assessment with patient
* Grow the number of qualified referrals and admissions to the company
* This is an in office position that may require some travel throughout the Metro Atlanta area for the purpose of visiting referral sources in person.
