**Job Title:** Cath Lab Technologist

**Shift:** Day, 4x9.5-Hour (07:00 - 16:30)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years required, with at least 1 prior travel assignment
**License:** Valid state license required at time of submission; specifics depend on the location of the assignment
**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, RCIS or CI
**Must-Have:**
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech
- Experience circulating procedures in an interventional cardiac cath lab
- Capability of administering and monitoring procedural sedation
**Job Description:**
- Work four nine-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
- Provide services in an interventional cardiac cath lab
- Perform and circulate in cardiac procedures such as diagnostic catheterizations (adult), left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively
- Monitor up to 5 procedural sedation cases per day
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation medications
- Handle responsibilities related to a specific range of patients including adults and geriatrics
- Expected to be on-call for 10 shifts per month, including 1 weekend, and available for 3 separate 24-hour weekend on-call shifts
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity when necessary
- Previous experience in electrophysiology (EP) lab, interventional radiology, special procedures, and previous charge experience preferred
- Scrubs provided, color-coded as blue
- Use of Cerner system preferred
- Mandatory flu vaccination with no exemptions allowed
