Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school program of Speech Language Pathology Assistant - new grads are welcomed to apply
- Licensed to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Texas by anticipated start date
- Experience in pediatrics and bilingual are a plus but not necessarily required
Job Duties:
- Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric clients with communication disorders
- Identify functional speech defects and establish a plan of care to improve patient’s function
- Implement programs to promote the development of communication skills
