Overlooking the scenic South China Sea, an hour away by ferry from Singapore, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon will introduce Swiss-inspired hospitality to Bintan in celebration of Mövenpick's rich culinary legacy. The resort is set to be the new beach getaway destination for all generations with standout facilities, including 420 rooms & suites, two golf courses, three lagoon swimming pools, unique restaurant concepts, a two-storey beach club, and spacious event spaces. Wellness will also be an integral part of the resort experience, with a vast wellness and recreation village that will feature a gym, a spa, and a Kid Club.

Job Description

  1. Plan room accommodations for employees and conduct new student orientations.
  2. Conduct general clean-ups and monthly room and facility inspections.
  3. Enforce dormitory rules and regulations; report incidents and recommend disciplinary action when needed.
  4. Plan and organize staff village celebrations for specific events.
  5. Manage day-to-day operations; oversee the staff village compound and ensure inventory is in good condition at all times.
  6. Ensure general cleanliness and building maintenance; handle staff complaints.
  7. Conduct regular checks on the team to ensure good standards of customer service and quality of work.
  8. Conduct patrols to maintain order and enforce staff village rules.
  9. Communicate with staff and deal with behavioral or security issues.
  10. Manage facility operations.
  11. Proactively identify problems and propose solutions.
  12. Arrange maintenance and repairs with the in-house team; ensure proper follow-up and reporting.
  13. Arrange scheduling and monitor employee transportation (BUS); ensure the safety of the transportation bus.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages is an advantage
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
