For more information visit our webpage at Summary: Perform mechanical/machine design engineering, analysis and integration of mechanical subsystems in support of a multi-disciplined engineering team.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $55k - $110kSummary of Duties & Responsibilities:Follows direction of senior staff and engineering management to conduct mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware design, development, integration/implementation and analysis in all phases of a design/development programReview performance reports and documentation from customers and field engineers and inspect malfunctioning or damaged products to determine problemFormulate mathematical models or other methods of computer analysis to develop, evaluate, or modify design according to customer engineering requirementsConduct experimental, environmental, and operational and stress tests on models and prototypes of aircraft and aerospace systems and equipmentDraft and position necessary instructions and comments onto engineering drawings to facilitate successful manufactureDrafts multiple-view detail, assembly, subassembly, and layout drawings as required for manufacture and repairDesign scale or full-size blueprints of components or systemsSupports flight test operations, some travel may be requiredOther activities as may be directedKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesThorough understanding of GD&TKnowledge of design/drafting/ CADKnowledge of ASME Y14.5 drawing standardProficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft office software required, CATIA V5 a plus, ANSYS and/or NASTRAN a plusExcellent verbal and written skillsTeam PlayerCredentials and ExperienceBS in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace EngineeringMust have 3 - 5 plus years of demonstrated experience in real world mechanical engineering applicationsExperience with software: SolidWorks, CATIA V5, ProE, KeyCreator, ANSYS and NASTRAN are all potentially significant factorsAnalysis of complex composite/metal structures and mechanical systems a plusExperience working with government and large Aerospace OEM contracts a plusMust be a US CitizenSpecial Requirements (established by supervisor)• Willing to work overtime in support of team objectives as requested by Engineering management.Eagle Technologies, LLC offers a full-time position with full benefits, competitive pay and opportunity to grow within a cutting-edge aerospace company.Eagle Technologies, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
