POSITION INFORMATION

Schedule/Shift: Full Time, 40 hrs. per week, M-F Hours Vary between 9a-5p,

Evenings and Weekends as needed for Community Events or shelter needs

Reports to: Executive Director

Pay: Based on experience

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Minimum-Associate's degree from an accredited college/university
Preferred-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

Experience: Minimum- 2 years’ experience in management role, 2 years’ experience in case management
Preferred- Greater than 2 years’ experience with housing, mental health and substance use, and other community resource utilization

MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS/ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Oversee housing operations at both shelter locations. Oversee staff and Case Managers at both locations and ensure compliance in accordance with Anchor House, Inc policies and procedures. Direct supervisor for Support staff (part time, full time, and night/weekend staff) and Case Managers, which includes hiring/firing (with Exec. Dir approval), training, monitor work shifts and duties accordingly. Responsible for covering any absence not covered by other staff that is necessary for operations.
  • Oversee case management being performed by staff and Case Managers through regular case management meetings to monitor progress of each residential individual and family through the Anchor House program to success/termination. This includes maintaining client savings and administering drug screens.
  • Work with staff and Case Managers to monitor and address violations of Anchor House rules, policies, or procedures and issues discipline in accordance with Anchor House policies and procedures, up to and including eviction/program participation termination.
  • Monitor client activities/curfew violations in accordance with shelter rules and note violations with appropriate and prompt paperwork.
  • Keep client information timely in appropriate HMIS/VISPDAT software in accordance with Emergency Solutions Grant. Pull reports of this data as needed for grant or Executive Director.
  • Maintain and oversee current client classes and programs. Work with staff, Case Managers, and Executive Director as needed to keep a current calendar of classes and ensure appropriate reporting on those classes. This may include some instruction of these programs. Work with the Executive Director to create new programs and initiatives.
  • Monitor facility/building maintenance. Work with staff to identify repairs or maintenance needed and ensure appropriate contractor or vendor is contacted. Ensure and monitor completion of repair or service.
  • Work closely with other social service agencies in their delivery of services to our clients.
  • Participate in community meetings, staff meetings, community events, trainings, and webinars as needed.
  • Monthly reporting to the Executive Director. Assist with any reporting for grants.
  • Assist with any grant writing or deliverables as needed by the Executive Director.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Executive Director. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
