Software Engineer II

JLL is looking for a Full-stack Developer with strong Microsoft .Net, Node.js, ReactJS, and NoSQL skills. In this role, the person will be responsible for application development and support on a day-to-day basis, maintain, monitor application performance, and apply patches to all tiers. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving mission-critical business issues through the use of cutting-edge technology. Bright seasoned individuals with a “get it done” mentality. Have a deep understanding and passion for technology and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with product technical leads to design new products or enhancements.
2. Take part in system development including analysis, coding, and testing.
3. Perform solution design.
4. Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and assist with user acceptance testing.
5. Provide ongoing support to applications used within the organization.

Experience & Education

1. At least 4 years of IT experience.

3. Exceptional debugging skills and strong experience with performance tuning.
4. Effective written and verbal communication skills.

6. Good range of hands-on technical experience.

Technical Skills & Competencies:

Mandatory:

1. Server side development - ASP.NET Core.
2. NoSQL Databases (Azure CosmosDB or MongoDB).
3. Relational Databases (SQL Server).
4. REST API.
5. JavaScript frameworks ReactJS.
6. Conversant with agile methodologies.

Preferable:

1. Experience using TypeScript.
2. Familiarity with the development of reusable frameworks, libraries to be used by multiple development teams.
3. Familiarity with cloud-native application architecture patterns.
4. Deploy Applications in Microsoft Azure.
5. API design concepts and development of RESTful web services.
6. Experience using DevOps tools for CI/CD.
7. Experience with tools and best practices for secure application development.
