We are actively looking for a Software Implementation Manager to join our IT team. As part of the IT Group, the Software Implementation Manager oversees the deployment and integrations of various software packages. They will manage various software implementations across the firm ranging from small scale implementations to complete ERP systems. They will also ensure alignment with both organizational needs and technical requirements. Responsibilities include system evaluation, specification, configuration, data migration, customization, and troubleshooting technical issues throughout the implementation process. This role will be expected to participate in and lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and provides technical expertise to optimize systems functionality. They will manage a small team of Business System Specialists. This position can sit in any city where Moffatt & Nichol has an office.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects for software systems, including project planning, requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and integrations with existing software in use at the firm.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify integration requirements and design solutions that seamlessly connect systems with existing software applications, ensuring data integrity and workflow continuity.
  • Assess the compatibility of software solutions with existing systems, identifying potential integration points, data mapping requirements, and technical dependencies.
  • Develop and implement integration strategies, leveraging middleware tools, APIs, and custom development as needed to facilitate data exchange and synchronization between disparate systems.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to implement and test integration solutions, ensuring adherence to technical standards, security protocols, and performance requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for integrated systems, monitoring data flows, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements as needed to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Document integration processes, configurations, and dependencies, maintaining comprehensive documentation to support knowledge transfer and future system enhancements.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in integration architecture, sharing insights and recommendations with internal stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Provide leadership, coordination, training and mentoring of their team.
  • Manage the Business Systems team to coordinate and direct their projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; required.
  • 10+ years of experience in software implementation, with a focus on ERP level systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics; required.
  • A minimum of 6 years of team leadership/management of staff; required.
  • Familiarity with Deltek, Dynamics, Workday, Newforma, PowerBI, Cinchy, BST, ADP or similar systems; preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading both large-scale and small-scale implementation projects, including integrations with existing software applications.
  • Deep understanding of integration principles, methodologies, and tools, with hands-on experience implementing integrations between ERP systems and third-party applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex integration issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Due to client parameters, selected candidate must show (post offer) proof of U.S. citizenship and clear results of a thorough background check that may include but is not limited to credit and criminal history.
  • All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171.

Base salary range:

$142,249 to $163,869 based on years of experience, level of education obtained, professional registration, and meeting required qualification in job description.

Physical requirements:

Sedentary for prolonged period of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
