Role: Control Engineer - Projects

Location: Mahwah, NJ 07430 and Oklahoma City, OK

Duration: 10-12 weeks (3 months only) Local

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation and Control / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering)
2. Minimum criteria: 4+ years of experience in installation and commissioning of automation projects. Experience in Automated Material Handling Systems (Conveyors, ASRS, Lifts, Robots, Barcode Scanners, Barcode Print & Apply, etc.) is required.
3. Experience with PLC (Standard and Safety PLCs): programming, installation, commissioning, and hardware/software troubleshooting experience on Rockwell Automation and Siemens' latest PLC/HMI platforms. Experience with industrial communication protocols preferably Ethernet IP, TCP/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, Profibus, Profinet.
4. Exposure to Kepware and other OPC servers.
5. Familiar with CAD to read drawings (Eplan, AutoCAD) and understand.
6. Good English verbal and written communication skills.
7. Experience with Cognex Scanners is a plus.
