Stagestep Flooring Solutions, the industry leader for more than 50 years in dance and theater flooring is looking for a detail oriented, flexible, self-motivated Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team in Philadelphia.
The Marketing Communications Specialist creates marketing communication programs to promote the Stagestep dance floor brand and business. The Marketing Communications Specialist manages the development and execution of marketing campaigns, maximizes marketing programs, develops content and manages digital and social media strategies to maximize brand awareness, manages online sales platforms, creates engagement and motivates purchase.
Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the marketing plan; Assist in creating and managing the marketing budget.
  • Develop and manage a mix of marketing campaigns to develop brand and product awareness and create the demand within targeted segments and audiences.
  • Incorporate a full and clear understanding of the company brand, corporate identity and tone into all activities and communications, adapt by target audience.
  • Act as owner of the Stagestep online presence, developing and executing website, creating and managing content, designing customer user experience and related communications, and accountable for the overall account health of online sales platforms.
  • Manage and maintain integration of online sales processing and product inventory systems (such as Woo Commerce and Amazon.)
  • Responsible for brands social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.) creating strategies and developing content within corporate guidelines, in order to increase engagement with target audience with KPI tracking and reporting on a regular basis.
  • Develop content and manage all digital marketing strategies and campaigns to increase brand recognition, website traffic and visibility (SEO), tracking KPI using Google analytics.
  • Create and coordinate development of short videos to support brand initiatives and product marketing.
  • Manage product marketing and content development including packaging, instructions for use and cross promotions.
  • Coordinate content development and editing of print production collateral, sample binders, brochures, direct mail, sales tools, on brand, time and on budget from approved concept to print production and distribution.
  • Track media calendar and evaluate opportunities for earned media to increase brand exposure.
  • Track PR and advertising hits, magazines subscriptions and associations renewals.
  • Management and execution of tradeshows and events and related sponsorships.
  • Assist with development of sales presentations using Power Point and/or other support.
  • Sourcing and project coordination of third-party vendors such as production companies, photographers, media placement, promotional items, and catering services as needed.
  • Work with graphic designers and outside vendors to ensure brand consistency.
We are looking for the following:
  • BA in Marketing, Communications, Design or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in similar role.
  • Proven understanding of digital marketing and analytics.
  • Project management, budgeting and outside vendors management experience.
  • Content development experience and implementation of social media strategies.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM.
  • Proven experience in updating website within a Content Management System (WordPress, Drupal, etc.).
  • Proven attentiveness to quality of art direction, imagery, photos, brand (examples to be supplied.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication and editing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Online sales management, strategy and inventory integration experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suites software including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
  • Understanding of the dance/arts community and/or and interest and appreciation for dance is a plus.
