Summary :

First Horizon Bank is seeking a Director of Product Management for Digital Payments to lead our consumer and small business payments capabilities. This individual will be a key member of the team driving the transformation of our digital banking products. This role is central to defining our product vision and delivering innovative digital solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

We are looking for someone who is customer-obsessed, with a passion for delivering exceptional digital experiences and the ability to drive product delivery efforts in a large organization. In this role, you will own the product lifecycle, from strategy to delivery, bringing innovative digital banking products to customers. As an experienced product leader, it is critical that you bring the ability to mentor and coach your team on modern product management principles.

The Digital Payments leader will have responsibility for the full suite of money movement capabilities across retail banking customers including transfers, P2P, bill payment, and digital wallets. As a leader in financial services, this individual will have a strong understanding of the market and technology trends driving the future of digital payments. You will bring direct experience building digital experiences to acquire new customers, drive engagement, and deepen customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute a multi-year product roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Work with business, fraud, and other key stakeholders to ensure customers can execute money movement needs while managing fraud and risk.
• Champion customer needs, using insights to drive product strategy.
• Set clear OKRs to ensure product success and measurable business outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Technology, Design, Business) to deliver high-quality products.
• Lead and mentor product teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Use data and customer feedback to guide decision-making and refine product features.
• Ensure product compliance with regulatory standards and manage risks effectively.
• Serve as a leader across the organization advocating for and demonstrating the role of strong product management

Qualifications :
• 7-10+ years of product management experience
• 5+ years of managerial experience.
• Manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function.
• Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
• Strong customer focus and ability to translate insights into product vision.
• Proven experience in setting and delivering against strategic goals.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development lifecycles.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working in regulated industries, especially financial services, preferred.
