The IT Business Relationship Manager will lead several areas of the IT Portfolio to deliver flexible, scalable, and effective technology solutions that solve business problems and consistently deliver business value aligned with the business strategy. This role will work closely with IT business partners and is responsible for ensuring the portfolio of the IT projects is effectively managed, prioritised, approved and delivered in line with the expectations of all senior stakeholders. The role will also be responsible for providing business analysis and project management expertise to business-critical projects within the IT portfolio

The IT Business Relationship Manager will lead several areas of the IT Portfolio to deliver flexible, scalable, and effective technology solutions that solve business problems and consistently deliver business value aligned with the business strategy. This role will work closely with IT business partners and is responsible for ensuring the portfolio of the IT projects is effectively managed, prioritised, approved and delivered in line with the expectations of all senior stakeholders. The role will also be responsible for providing business analysis and project management expertise to business-critical projects within the IT portfolio
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the management and IT steering
- Partner with business areas and IT business partners to develop IT delivery roadmaps aligned with business and IT strategy
- Implement Ardagh Group IT roadmaps to support successful delivery of projects and management of project scope
- Support the IT financial controller and IT senior management teams in the yearly budgeting process, and ongoing maintenance of budget oversight
- Work with the business and IT teams to develop innovative solutions that automate and scale business processes
- Lead and contribute to post project implementation reviews
- Communicate project lessons learned with the goal of continuously improving project delivery and business analysis standards within Ardagh Group
- Ensure the portfolio of the IT projects is effectively managed, prioritised, approved and delivered in line with the expectations of all senior stakeholders
- Oversee the effective delivery of approved Group IT projects aligned with the Sox IT project management methodology
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or engineering.
- Professional certification in one or more of the following disciplines: Project Management; Business Analysis; Project Portfolio Management
- Five (5) years of proven project delivery, including large transformation projects leading cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams
- Experience chairing and facilitating project/portfolio steering committees attended by senior executive level
- Ability to work with the business to produce justifications that drive financial value to the organization
- Detailed knowledge of key IT systems and capabilities that support the end-to-end processing of functions across the business
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills responsibilities
- Up to 40% travel
- Ability to set the direction and strategy for a small - medium sized team
- A proactive, problem-solving and delivery-focused approach to day-to-day roles and responsibilities
