Job Requirements / Description

Description * Ensure loan packages are materially complete. * Review credit and borrower information to determine loan program eligibility. * Use independent judgment and critical thinking in the compilation of key financial data for accurate representation of credit risk in SBA and other government loan requests including business cash flow and global cash flow analysis, management analysis, and overall repayment capacity. * Demonstrate superior customer service by ensuring appropriate follow-up with customers and colleagues on information needed to assist the underwriting decision. * Interpret and analyze financial information from multiple sources, including reporting services, credit bureaus, credit reports, and other industry data to make informed underwriting decisions. * Review and analyze legal documents, UCC search information, and title reports to determine if additional information is necessary to fully underwrite the loan request. * Review borrower and guarantor financial information to make informed credit decisions, ensuring sufficient cash flow and compliance with DSCR requirements. * Determine financial and repayment analysis with a focus on cash flow, liquidity, leverage, debt service coverage to identify key risks and mitigating factors. * Perform financial analysis using business and guarantor financial statements, tax returns, cash flows and projections. * Prepare complex credit memos for review and approval including comprehensive credit memoranda outlining financial strengths, risk assessments, and loan structures. * Evaluate loan applications and other financial data to create a concise, accurate report which can be utilized by the approving authority to make credit decisions for new requests as well as renewals. * Demonstrate a satisfactory understanding of and adherence to Bank operational policies and applicable compliance regulations as they relate to the specific job duties assigned. * Collaborate and maintain strong internal and external relationships with stakeholders, including team members, clients, legal counsel, and third-party vendors. * Manage assigned loan transactions, ensuring compliance with all conditions and timely completion of documentation * Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks * Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards * Other duties as assigned Note: This role operates during typical business hours (8am-5pm), but may require work outside of these hours in times of higher volume or for upcoming project deadlines. This role is intended to function, the majority of the week, from the Columbus office.
