Job Summary:
Supermicro is seeking a top-notch hands-on Software Engineer who will develop user interfaces using Django and API calls (Redfish, and other Open source projects). Innovate solutions that will leverage customary in-house tools which are used in the testing process. Hardware knowledge involving high-end server systems is highly desirable, you will be building software solutions that deploy new lxd/docker images. Enhance user friendliness with automating the integration of all software components across product segments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
- Responsible for developing, testing, delivering, documenting, and putting frontends into testing and production.
- Developing clean, minimalist UI templates, and other 'web' applications that testers will interact with.
- Work closely with research and design team members and validation team members.
- Responsible for testing the UI's and forms that currently exist, and enhance forms as new feature requests come in.
Qualifications:

- BS/MS CS/CE/EE
- 3+ years of working experience in Web development And/Or Linux Systems Programming
- Strong programming skills in Python, JS, React/JQuery/Node
- Will need to know CSS/HTML structure and tags
- Some Linux/Unix experience is necessary. We almost exclusively stage under *nix (RHEL-alikes, ubuntu and FBSD.)
- Git (Specifically, gitlab-related features preferred)
Salary Range:
$85,000 - $154,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
