Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Lead Pharmacy Technician-Data Entry to join our PharmScript team within our Data Entry department. In this role, you’ll provide support to the Data Entry Supervisor and perform daily functions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and is an effective communicator. They are always a team player, eager to jump in where needed and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy and needs of customers.

Responsibilities:
Assist the Data Entry Supervisor as necessary

Data entry involves the entry and processing of medication orders via the pharmacy’s operating system which includes:Hand-written Physician Order Sheets and State Prescription Blanks

Electronic Prescriptions

Reorder requests

Replenishment and billing transactions for emergency boxes and automated dispensing machines

Qualifications:
High School or GED is required

Must be registered Pharmacy Technician in applicable state

Minimum 6 months Data Entry experience in Long Term Care

Previous Retail Pharmacy and Hospital Pharmacy experience accepted

Strong Knowledge of Brand Name/Generic medications and Sig codes

Moderate to advanced computer skills required

Candidate must possess basic math skills

Strong Framework/DocuTrack knowledge preferred

May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently
