POSITION SUMMARY

As an integral part of a team, you will be responsible for continuously looking for ways to improve each guest’s experience, from providing exceptional guest service to being involved in the operation of the spa front desk. Responsibilities include maintaining a cashier’s bank, making spa appointments, selling retail, giving spa tours, maintaining facilities, and providing courteous and efficient guest services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Greet and exercise five diamond services to all guests.
  • Promote the spa, all treatments, services, current programs, and retail.
  • Accurately input spa reservations into a spa software program and respond to email inquiries.
  • Have complete knowledge of:
    • Hotel and spa features/services including current promotions and/or discounts available.
    • Groups 'in-house' and their billing procedures for spa services.
    • Pending projects or unfinished guest-related services.
  • Maintain a Cashier's bank.
  • Attend all mandatory training sessions, coordinator, and staff meetings.
  • Maintain a safe, fully stocked, clean, and neat work area.
  • Assist in all areas of spa operation as required or assigned within the guidelines of all Spa Standard Operating Procedures.

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS

Reports To: Lead Coordinator, Spa Operations Manager, Spa Director

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
  • Any combination of education and experience which meets the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position.
  • Japanese speaking a plus.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

  • None

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Japanese speaking preferred.
  • Anticipate guest needs by maintaining positive relations.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and spa software preferred but not required.
  • Work various shifts and schedules to include weekends and holidays.
  • Basic accounting skills.

  • Bend and reach into a deep laundry bin.

  • Squat to inventory retail in small/short/low/deep cabinets.
  • Climb/balance on a step ladder.
  • Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.

  • Outdoor, non-air-conditioned environment.
  • Exposure to variable temperatures.
  • Exposure to fumes, dusts, chemicals, and odor hazards.
