AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

AWS Partner Solutions Architects are trusted advisors to our partners and customers, helping them solve some of their largest business challenges by designing and advising on some of the most scalable, flexible and resilient solutions in the world. You will have the opportunity to partner with customers early in their cloud journey and help them scale further bringing visible and measurable impact in their growth ambitions in non-linear ways, using AWS as building blocks.

Key Job Responsibilities

Customers are looking for strategic partners to help them thrive in rapidly changing business context. As a partner solutions architect, you will have opportunities to influence customers' cloud journey right from the start. You will provide partners with technical insight, technology roadmap, and right technical choices to transform IT in a rapidly changing environment.

1. Work directly with partners to accelerate their business outcomes and recommend best-practice cloud architectures in line with their long-term business needs.
2. Drive technical solutions discussions with your partners, diving deep into the details to solve complex technical challenges and craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.
3. Act as a thought leader playing a role in educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers, blogs, and running workshops in Korean or English.
4. Deeply understand AWS platform and architectural best practices, and develop unique technical capability in a particular technical or industry domain.
5. Shape the direction of our products and services through gathering feedback from partners & customers whilst collaborating with our engineering and service teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
2. 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
3. 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
2. Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
3. Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
4. Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting.
5. Experience writing and publishing technical white papers.
