Position Overview
Reporting to the Chief Impact Officer, we are seeking a full-time, dynamic and versatile Senior Manager of Impact Initiatives to work closely with the Chief Impact Officer to manage and execute key initiatives across the Foundation. This role is crucial in supporting the success of a diverse portfolio of projects, including the Make Good Famous Summit, The Elevate Prize Catalyst Award , the Foundation’s impact analyses , and development and fundraising efforts . The Senior Manager will serve as a strategic partner, managing projects and driving collaboration across teams. This position can be based in Miami, Florida (preferred) or remote and is considered exempt under FLSA.
Key Responsibilities
Make Good Famous Summit : Support the planning and execution of the Summit by leading efforts in speaker selection and recruitment, session development, and ensuring a seamless program that aligns with the Foundation's mission.
The Elevate Prize Catalyst Award : Support the execution of the award, including identifying and vetting potential awardees, managing logistics and communications, and collaborating with partners and stakeholders to maximize the impact of the award.
Foundation Impact Analysis : Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess and measure the impact of the Foundation's investments. This includes data collection, reporting, and translating insights into strategies and reports that enhance the Foundation’s programs and outreach.
Development and Fundraising : Work with the Director of Development to research and identify funding opportunities. Assist in crafting pitches and presentations for potential funders and support events for donors and Pipeline Partners.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration : Act as a liaison between departments to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives and programs. Work closely with the Chief of Staff to communicate departmental project management. Facilitate meetings, track progress, and ensure accountability across teams.
New Initiatives : Assist in the exploration and development of new programs or partnerships that align with the Foundation's mission and objectives.
Other projects and duties that arise or are assigned.
Qualifications
Experience : At least 7 years of experience in program management, strategic initiatives, social impact, events programming, or a related field. Experience in philanthropy or the non-profit sector is a plus.
Project Management Skills : Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, with a track record of meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
Strategic Thinking & Hands-on Execution : Ability to understand the big picture and contribute to high-level decision-making while managing details and execution.
Fundraising & Development : Experience with donor relations, proposal writing, and fundraising strategy is preferred.
Strong Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across a diverse group of stakeholders.
Problem-Solving & Flexibility : Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing circumstances, and find creative solutions to challenges.
