WHAT WE OFFER
At Covestro, we want to provide students with opportunities to explore careers and learn about building professional relationships. Covestro's Early Discovery Diversity Program are early insights/educational programs designed to encourage undergraduate freshman and sophomores to learn more about Covestro and the chemical industry, acquire technical skills and gain tools to start the career planning process and positioning in a competitive internship market.
The 2-day, in-person program will take place at Covestro's headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA in May 2025. Covestro's campus is located in Robinson Township, a suburb of Pittsburgh, located 12 miles west of the city. During the program, you will participate in panel discussions, business overviews, training sessions and have executive interface. You will gain exposure to Covestro's culture, people, and learn about the career paths within a manufacturing company in the chemical industry.
This immersive program is designed to bring your classroom learning to life. Throughout the session, you will participate in panel discussions, business overviews, training sessions and network with business leaders and executives. For upperclassmen who attend, the program capstone will include design thinking sessions to learn more about Covestro and how we push boundaries, re-define business problems and innovate.

WHAT YOU OFFER
Basic Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate freshman (rising sophomore) and sophomore (rising junior) currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
  • From a traditionally underrepresented background
  • Ability to attend in-person event in Pittsburgh in May 2025
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a degree in a science, engineering or other STEM related field

*The Early Discovery Diversity Program is a two-day unpaid immersive program. By participating, you will be considered for a summer 2026 internship for which you meet the requirements. Covestro does not offer compensation, transportation, housing stipend, or any type of reimbursement to attend this program.
