The Opportunity

Are you a self-motivated sales professional who wants to make money selling an innovative technology, while also solving crime? If you thrive in a competitive, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment, this is a game-changing opportunity for you. Flock is looking to add an Account Executive to our growing Community Safety sales team. This person will play a key role in helping the Flock grow, focusing on a single market, owning demand generation, partnerships, and full cycle sales. Your primary customer base is Homeowners Associations (HOAs) and Property Management Groups.

The Skillset

  • 2+ years of outbound full-cycle sales with an emphasis on software sales.
  • Experience in executing deals created through both marketing demand and self-sourced opportunities (referrals and cold calling).
  • Self-starter mentality with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and produce results in a defined territory.
  • Experience using outbound sales strategies to develop new business within a defined territory.
  • Experience working with a large tech stack.
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills, both in person and virtually.
  • Energized by solving customer's problems- e.g. consultative sales approach.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, data-driven sales environment where top of funnel activity is a high priority.
  • Startup experience is a plus.

90 Days at Flock

The First 30 Days

  • Connect with onboarding buddy & schedule shadow calls/demos.
  • Present Your Territory Plan of Attack.
  • Begin building list of 100+ contacts for prospecting.

The First 60 Days

  • Connect with top-performing CS TSRs - learn best practices that you can adopt.
  • Connect with 5 Community Liaisons / CROs (Community Resource Officers) to turn into referral sources.
  • Meeting with a current customer.

90 Days & Beyond

  • Contribute to weekly Pod Syncs.
  • Master Tech Stack (meaning you can complete job w/ little assistance).
  • Generate a min of 3 referral opportunities from the Community Liaisons / CROs (Community Resource Officers) you established a relationship with.

The Interview Process

  1. Our First Chat: During this first conversation, you’ll meet with a recruiter to chat through your background, what you could bring to Flock, what you are looking for in your next role, and who we are.
  2. The Hiring Manager Interview: You will meet with your potential future boss to really dive into the role, the team, expectations, and what success means at Flock.
  3. The Technical Assessment: Our technical assessments seek to test both the hard & soft skills required to do the job. Engineers may find themselves in coding interviews or architecture discussions, sales roles may present mock discovery calls, and leadership roles may craft 90 day plans. Your recruiter will inform you of which assessment you will be assigned and ensure you are fully prepared for your big day.
  4. The Executive Review: A chance to meet an executive and view Flock from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more.

Salary & Equity: In this role, you’ll receive a base salary of $65,000, OTE of $132,925, uncapped commissions, and stock options!
