MARTIN Technologies is hiring Automotive Wire Harness Techs at our Novi location. We offer a dynamic environment that supports opportunities for team members to work on a variety of unique projects. We build prototype and production harnesses for the newest automotive technology.If you have an interest in wiring projects, please apply!We are accepting applications for candidates with all levels of wiring experience-- entry level technicians, mid-level technicians, senior technicians, and engineers.Our Teams work on the following types of projects:Prototype Wire HarnessesProduction Wire HarnessesHarness Modifications and ReworkPlywood BuckWiring Updates & Rework on VehiclesWire Harness Test / Validation BenchWiring Harness DesignICE to EV Vehicle ConversionsLow VoltageHigh VoltageWiring on Proof of Concept ProjectsOtherEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Perform work as outlined in project plan with efficiency and accuracyProject layout – typically on processing tables /“bread boards”Work from print and cut sheet instructionsProper assembly using wiring hand toolsQuality validation including continuity and test fixtureCollaborate with team on root cause analysis as neededFollow workflow and process per provided instructionRecord work activity per process documentsMaintain clean, organized workspaceMeet delivery timing for assignmentsMaintain clean and safe work environmentMaintain customer and program confidentiality requirementsSkills & Qualifications:2 years’ experience in wire harness assemblyBuild from scratchBuild from donorProficient in correct soldering techniqueKnowledge of appropriate tool usageProficiency in proper technique relative to various components (terminal crimping, connector locks, seals, etc.)Proficient in accurate measurementKnowledge of proper taping techniqueProficient in building from prints and cutsheetsProficient in use of multimeter for continuity testingAbility to troubleshoot build issuesAbility to work independently as well as in a team settingDetail-oriented, organized, and efficientWillingness to ask questions and seek assistance as neededFocus on and commitment to 100% qualityReliable – must report and be engage as scheduledGreat attitude toward work and learningAdditional Experience Supporting Expanded Opportunities:Wiring certificationHigh voltage trainingHigh voltage certificationDesign experienceQuality Tools experienceExperience in OEM plant environmentMARTIN Technologies is a full-service, global engineering and manufacturing company supporting OEM and Tier customers in the automotive, marine, aerospace and defense industries.
