A leading global corporate travel alliance is on the lookout for an accomplished and results-driven Business Development Manager. This role will focus on driving global sales growth and optimizing member experiences, making it ideal for a seasoned professional ready to leverage extensive industry knowledge. Key responsibilities include identifying new sales opportunities, managing client relationships, and enhancing member satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Spearhead international sales efforts with a focus on building new business pipelines
- Develop and deploy robust sales strategies to reach and exceed goals
- Maintain strong relationships with corporate travel agencies and departments, ensuring exceptional service standards
- Act as a company representative at industry events, presenting and networking on behalf of the alliance
- Collaborate closely with senior management on strategic planning and performance metrics
- Oversee member experience initiatives to enhance overall satisfaction
- Travel up to 50% to industry functions and events for networking opportunities
Requirements:
- Extensive travel industry experience (10+ years), ideally within TMC or airline revenue management
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals
- Expertise in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Strong knowledge of GDS systems is advantageous
- Ability to present effectively and speak publicly with confidence
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical capabilities
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder relationships in complex settings
