This role will focus on Information Management/Knowledge Management (IM/KM), Records Management, Case Management Data Science Support, and Human Resources (HR) Project Management. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical knowledge, project management expertise, and the ability to navigate complex organizational landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
Information Management/Knowledge Management (IM/KM)
- Lead the development and implementation of IM/KM strategies and processes
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of the Federal Judiciary Information Architecture and Data Dictionary
- Manage projects to improve data and information accessibility, storage, and dissemination
Records Management
- Direct projects to modernize and standardize records management practices
- Ensure compliance with National Archive and Records Administration (NARA) requirements
- Oversee the integration of records management processes into the Federal Judiciary Information Architecture
Case Management Data Science Support
- Manage projects related to the integration of case management data into the Federal Judiciary Data Dictionary and Information Architecture
- Oversee initiatives to leverage case management data for business intelligence and operational insights
- Coordinate with data scientists and analysts to improve data-driven decision-making processes
HR Project Management Support
- Lead projects to standardize and improve HR practices and business processes
- Manage initiatives to ensure HR data compliance with OMB mandates for security, storage, and archival
- Oversee the integration of HR data into the Federal Judiciary Data Dictionary and Information Architecture
General Project Management
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Identify and manage project risks and issues
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and Federal Judiciary management
- Prepare and present project status reports and updates
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years managing IT or data-related projects
- Strong understanding of IM/KM principles and best practices
- Familiarity with records management regulations and NARA requirements
- Experience with data science projects and business intelligence initiatives
- Knowledge of HR systems and processes
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- PMP certification preferred
