Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Note that initially, this would be a very hands-on role. We don't just want a manager but someone who can execute by hand.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Define and implement sales processes and metrics to drive sales performance.
- Identify key sales trends and market opportunities, and align the sales organization’s objectives with Writesonic's business strategy.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting to the management team.
- Collaborate with other teams (such as marketing and product) to optimize the sales process and product offerings.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, success, and positive team morale.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA would be a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on sales experience, focusing on SaaS or technology products. Previous experience in a leadership role is required.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing.
- Strong understanding of sales metrics and ability to translate company goals into clear and achievable objectives for the sales team.
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to build, lead, and motivate teams.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical information.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
