Job Requirements / Description
- Essential responsibilities: Working with clients and service managers to coordinate and schedule work.
- Assure gas decontamination and certification of biological safety cabinets and chemical fume hoods are performed per contract and industry standards.
- Preparing, reviewing, and/or transmitting project reports and certifications.
- Assuring the maintenance/certification of equipment for decontamination, certification, and sterilization are current.
- Periodically provide support for decommissioning, laboratory equipment decontamination, and calibration.
- Provide support for closure assessments associated with our client’s R&D facilities, labs, pharmacies, and clean rooms.
- Requirements: 2+ years' work experience as an instrument/field technician, knowledgeable in monitoring equipment, lab equipment, field testing and/or equipment maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel, including overnight stays.
- Flexibility with working hours, including possible off-hours and weekends.
- Successful completion of a physical examination and drug screening is required prior to employment.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in United States without sponsorship.
- Preferred requirements: Experience with testing & certification of biological safety cabinet services.
- Knowledge of fume hood and cabinet testing standards and testing instrumentation.
- Experience with laboratory building systems, and/or laboratory infrastructure.
- OSHA 40-hour training.
