Senior Tax Accountant

LHH is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant for a contract to hire opportunity in Plano, TX. This role will spearhead and manage diverse tax projects for clients. An ideal fit must possess a CPA and have 4+ years of tax accounting experience. Salary is $95-$115,000 depending on experience!
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and execute tax compliance activities for individuals and businesses, including tax planning and projections, tax research, resolution, and correspondence.
  
• Navigate complex tax laws to provide insightful guidance.
  
• Support on special tax projects and initiatives, collaborating closely with staff, clients, and management.
  
• Expertly review diverse tax returns, ensuring accuracy.
  
• Manage accounting processes and crucial reporting for clients.
  
• Foster strong client and team relationships to fuel success.
  
• Mentor and develop talent, shaping a high-performing team.
  
• Collaborate on growth strategies with partners, driving innovation.
  
• Maintain timely and effective communication for seamless operations.
  

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Certified Public Accountant certification is required.
  
• Minimum three years of experience in public accounting.
  
• Well-rounded accounting background.
  
• Research-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities
  
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software, financial systems, and data analysis.
  
• Excellent understanding of GAAP & financial reporting standards.
  
• Experience with risk assessment, internal controls, & compliance testing.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  

Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
