Overview

WGI is currently seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for our growing professional services business. The position will be located in our corporate headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida office. The position will report directly to the President.

The Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of driving culture and alignment, employee engagement, talent management, benefits, organizational and performance management, training and development, compensation, and total rewards. The CHRO provides strategic leadership by being an active member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Responsibilities
    Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company's mission and strategic vision.
  • Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations
  • Function as a strategic business advisor to the senior management of enterprise-wide divisions and departments, regarding key organizational and management issues.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.
  • Lead efforts in driving employee engagement.
  • Provide the HR technical expertise required to successfully assess and integrate acquisitions
  • Leads effort and provides advice and support for the development, implementation, oversight, and evaluation of HR information systems
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR team by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits nationally.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Human resources certification (SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-SCP) is preferred
  • A minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years of executive HR experience managing and leading an HR team.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships at all levels within the organization, acting as a coach and mentor to team members
  • The ability to build and maintain a proactive and positive HR team.
  • A hands-on leader, serving as a subject matter expert who is comfortable updating leadership on key advancements with relevance to our work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems. Specific experience with Ceridian Dayforce and iCIMS is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills a must
  • Ability to multi-task
