Senior Development Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Development Engineer to join a leading manufacturer near Naperville, IL. Ideal candidates have R&D and vehicle handling testing.

Responsibilities

1. Benchmarking, data acquisition, and testing analysis to support new product designs and modeling validation
2. Leading test projects
3. Developing and acquiring new test fixtures and equipment
4. Planning and executing all aspects of testing including structural fatigue testing, experimental model analysis, field measurements and more
5. Establishes and evaluates tests for suspension systems and components

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, Masters in Mechanical Engineering preferred
2. Strong understanding of vehicle testing, finite element structural analysis, fatigue analysis, and vehicle handling analysis
3. Servo Hydraulic test equipment and testing
4. Proven project management experience
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
