The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the company’s tax-related activities. This position is 100% remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a comprehensive review of the company’s tax situation.
• Ensure proper registration in all states where the company operates.
• File sales tax forms accurately and timely.
• Review and address past due tax items by state.
• Handle various ad-hoc tax-related projects and clean-up tasks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in tax consulting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of state tax regulations and compliance.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
