Who we are looking for
As a Financial Reporting Vice President, the ideal candidate will need to have in depth knowledge of SEC, IRS and GAAP accounting requirements and laws as they apply to investment companies. You must be able to independently lead a global team and provide oversight. You must also be able to manage clients and oversee client deliverables while maintaining high quality. Additionally, you must be able to contribute to department wide initiatives including technology improvement.

What you will be responsible for
As a Financial Reporting Vice President you will:
  1. Oversee client communication and implementation of new regulatory requirements/disclosures that impact the financial statements.
  2. Oversee the implementation of all standard practices processes tools etc. and initiatives (ESP Re-Engineering) and technology enhancements (system conversion).
  3. Manage team to ensure proper oversight of JV (HCL).
  4. Manage key relationships with client companies and regulatory and vendor organizations as applicable to ensure that requests are being met with a satisfactory level of service.
  5. Responsible for execution of overall business plan in assigned areas.
  6. Manage conversions of new business plan for and review client specific agreements and internal policies.
  7. Collaborate with operational teams globally to ensure consistent service delivery client solutions and client satisfaction.
  8. Assess operational effectiveness and implement plans to streamline functions ensure optimal service environment and technology usage.
  9. Manage team; provide coaching and development opportunities to staff make effective staffing recommendations. Responsible for the direction and training of subordinate managers and staff.
  10. Assess impacts of regulatory changes.
  11. Proactively manage risk at the business level.
  12. Act in accordance with Rick Excellence and model ethical behavior and decision making.
  13. Other duties as assigned.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  1. Equivalent to a B.S. degree in Business Accounting or related field. CPA or MBA is preferred.
  2. Ten or more years of related management experience preferably with a public accounting audit firm or with a financial services organization.
  3. Knowledge of SEC, IRS and GAAP accounting requirements and laws as they apply to investment companies.

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $177,500 Annual
