Pure Storage revolutionized the storage market with their all-flash arrays and non-disruptive upgrades, and we’re looking to do it again with Storage as a Service. We’re looking for a standout Product Manager who wants to lead the strategy for the next market revolution and shape the as-a-service strategy for Pure Storage. The right person for this job has big ideas and is passionate about reimagining the way businesses buy and consume storage. You’ll need to understand cloud-based pricing and consumption models as well as have a view on what services best complement core storage. You’re also comfortable working in an “outside-in” model, interacting closely with customers, partners and sellers and then driving a tight feedback loop with engineering to build the services that will enable Pure to continue revolutionizing the storage industry.

As Senior Product Manager for our Digital Experience team responsible for subscription growth across Partners and Customers with Pure1 Cloud, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and outcomes to meet business goals. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Creating and evolving a full product strategy and codifying it with a simple to articulate vision.
  2. Having strong skills in stakeholder needs assessment and use case validation, market sizing, competitive analysis and understanding technology trends.
  3. Defining features and software capabilities to enable high adoption from customers and partners to build a high growth subscription business.
  4. Understanding existing end-to-end business and financial processes, systems and data flows to identify opportunities for business process optimization.
  5. Executing the highest impact transformational cross-functional initiatives across the company enabling frictionless commerce. Strategically partner with Business Development, Global Partner Organization, Sales and Order Operations, Legal and Compliance teams to enable new offers on our SaaS platform.
  6. Leading roadmap, product prioritization and requirements definition for clear alignment with business strategy. Working with engineering counterparts to prioritize, design, integrate feedback for enhancements to shape a compelling product with measurable metrics.
  7. Engaging with field sales and marketing teams as well as channel partners to support the sales process and drive the overall use case centric go-to-market model.
  8. Working with user experience team to enable a delightful yet simple user experience with a focus on high adoption for all digital processes and product capabilities.
  9. Being a key spokesperson and evangelist for Pure and your product area at conferences and customer meetings.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  1. 5+ years Product Management experience.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. MBA is a plus.
  3. Good knowledge of cloud (IaaS, PaaS or SaaS) business models.
  4. Experience with digital marketplace processes, subscriptions, Cloud and SaaS is a plus.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business problems into manageable components.
  6. Being a change agent with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile development environment and manage multiple, concurrent priorities and projects.
  7. Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results across multiple projects.

You will be based in Santa Clara, CA. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

The annual base salary range is: $174,000.00 - $260,000.00. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
