As a Senior Software Developer - Front End, you will serve as a member of the Engineering team. You will aid in the innovation and creation of company software and programs. You seek to facilitate the proper design and implementation of software. From detailed computer coding to pixel perfect design, the Senior Software Developer is an asset when creating a seamless software experience for customers.
You are extremely good at building the software architecture. We’re looking for you to be excellent in providing high-level scalable design solutions and excellent at problem-solving and providing solutions to real-world problems. As important as your technical competence is, you also must be a good team player and are effective in communicating within and across teams.
The Senior Software Developer will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
Our team has been fully distributed since day 0. Our HQ office is in Dallas, TX, and our secondary office space is in New York, NY, which have both been opened to anyone who chooses to go in. We will continue to be remote-optional and monitor Covid-19 trends to ensure the safety of our employees.

  • Seasoned engineer with industry experience working on large, complex projects
  • Has demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment

  • Takes pride in keeping a tidy house with minimal technical debt

  • Is always experimenting with new technologies and learning new skill sets
  • Appreciates and welcomes challenges at all levels

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing high quality software and contributing to growing the product
  • Work closely with other functions (Product & Design) to build product capabilities
  • Resolving technical challenges with clean solutions
  • Producing technical documentation as needed
  • Developing a deep understanding of our architecture and codebase while also learning about our product and the customers that use it

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years hands on software engineering experience
  • Deep understanding of technical architecture, application security, CI/CD, and agile development
  • Successful experience building scalable software solutions and platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to address dynamic, complex challenges early and often
  • Excellent communication skills, team mindset, and intellectual curiosity
  • Experience in fast-paced startups is a big plus


Aerotrax’s current technologies and languages include: Angular2+, NodeJS, Typescript, AWS Services (Cognito, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, CDK, Amplify, CodePipeline), Storybook, Tailwind, Distributed Ledger Technology.
