We’re looking for an Associate Director, STAAT Insights Engineer to:
- Write code, implement automated tests, contribute to release and iteration planning, and develop the working practices of the team.
- Analyze and understand business and technical stories.
- Capture detailed technical requirements based on business requirements.
- Support the business in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems.
- Perform insightful and constructive code reviews to help maintain and teach proper coding techniques and ensure that fellow engineers/architects are considering all pertinent factors to prevent regression defects or the introduction of problematic code.
- Contribute to establishing and promoting best SDLC practices and pro-actively investigate and propose new technologies for use within the department.

Your expertise
- Education & Experience Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any), Technology or a related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Associate, Systems Engineer or a related occupation.
- Alternate Education & Experience Requirement (if applicable)
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any), Technology or a related field of study and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Associate, Systems Engineer or a related occupation in lieu of Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience.
- Position requires experience with the following:
- (1) Java EE platforms; (2) Spring Framework; (3) Kafka; (4) Azure cloud SAAS; (5) MQ; (6) Oracle; (7) Spring JPA; (8) Spring Batch; (9) Mongo DB; (10) Agile methodology; (11) Angular; (12) Jasmine/Junit; (13) React; (14) Apache Solr.
