Defense Attorney

Our law firm is looking for an Attorney who is ready to represent our existing client base. The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm’s clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. Responsibilities

• Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff
• Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
• Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
• Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies

Qualifications

• Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
• Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis)
• Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years
• Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required

Compensation

$100,000 - $150,000 yearly
