Project Engineering Job Description

INTERFACE MANAGEMENT

• Assertive collaboration by the PE is critical to the project success!
• PE to work closely with PM to determine applicable stakeholders and project team makeup and critical interfaces.
• PE will interface with Engineering team/Engineering provider to ensure components necessary to meet project scope are executed.
• PE is responsible for interface with all Engineering and technical parties. Common technical team members include:
• Engineering team(s) (I&E, Civil, Mechanical, and Drafting)
• System Planning
• Measurement
• Operations
• Power Solutions
• Integrity/Technical Services
• Compression
• Customer’s Engineering/Operations/Technical personnel

Other team members include:

• Environmental
• ROW
• Construction Manager
• Supply Chain
• Legal
• Regulatory
• Project Controls

• PE will track engineering provider’s progress and cost to ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables per the project schedule.
• Collaborate and communicate regarding any project changes to ensure alignment of stakeholders and project team.
• Ensure that project goals and activities align with the overall strategic objectives of the company.
