Position Summary:
We're on the lookout for a dynamic B2B full sales cycle Account Executive to join our thriving sales team. The ideal candidate has a hunter mentality and excels in cultivating customer relationships while showcasing tenacity in overcoming objections. This role requires exceptional communication skills, resilience in the face of challenges, and a results-focused mindset. A successful candidate will actively contribute to data-driven decision-making and work with their leader to fine-tune sales strategies for continuous enhancement.
Position will be remote/WFH and requires up to 30% travel within the assigned territory.
Base Salary Range: $75,000/year - $85,000/year, based on experience plus commission
Earning Potential through Commission: First year - projected $20,000+; second year - projected $50,000+. There is no limit/cap to commission earnings.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.
- Proactive prospecting and engaging cold calls/outreach.
- Assist in formulating standard/routine proposals in conjunction with team members and various functional groups.
- Communicate back to internal groups the outcome of the negotiations/proposals focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group, i.e., clear details, critical timeframes, and expectations.
- Track and report to senior management on a frequent basis the status of all proposal components, pipeline performance, and negotiations.
- Establish and maintain ongoing client relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems.
- Routinely participate in site visits.
- Manage ongoing discussions and ensure a positive relationship with/between various clients, customers, and associates.
- Collaborate with internal operational teams and senior management in identifying various types of data sets that can improve business performance metrics and overall operational forecast for new and existing clients.
- Develop and continuously maintain account profiles for new and existing clients to assist all those involved in managing day-to-day operations with those accounts for proper communications and customer service assistance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant years of experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business development and/or outside sales role.
- CRM experience; Salesforce preferred.
- Excellent PC skills, and Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license is required.
- Position will be remote/WFH and requires up to 30% travel.
