LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Senior Accountant for a client of ours in Cleveland, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of critical accounting functions, including financial reporting, account reconciliations, and supporting both internal and external audits.
Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing tasks, including preparing general ledger entries and reconciling accounts, focusing on cash, prepaid expenses, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
  • Assist with external consolidated financial reporting (e.g., Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, press releases, government census reporting).
  • Support internal consolidated financial reporting, planning, and analysis (e.g., monthly internal financial statements and business metrics).
  • Interface with internal and external auditors, ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
  • Aid in accounting-related integration activities for newly acquired companies.
  • Contribute to the annual planning process.
  • Assist with the Accounts Payable process.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in US GAAP and the ability to independently prepare accurate journal entries.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and focus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Effective problem-solving and time management abilities.

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
