WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As a member of our largest direct-to-customer sales force, you will represent our Cummins Allison product line, which includes back-office currency counting equipment and technical services as well as customer-facing currency counting equipment and self-checkout cash payment solutions. The territory you will cover is the Los Angeles Metro area.
The Associate will have a direct impact on our Sales group, responsible for:
- Achieving equipment and service sales targets and goals.
- Representing CPI to national customers, located locally as the local customer-facing representative for our equipment and service products.
- Developing strong relationships within assigned customers at all levels of their organization.
- Expanding existing sales and service business ensuring growth and readiness in all segments by developing and implementing sales growth oriented programs.
- Engaging key customers, executing strategies, evaluating competitive solutions, resolving disputes, and improving acceptance of CPI solutions.
- Tracking activities and opportunities utilizing Salesforce.com as well as a variety of additional tools and reports.
- Driving proposal development and coordinating responses to large bid requests.
- Working in conjunction with Region Sales Managers to facilitate execution at the field level.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 2+ years of sales experience in direct-to-customer environments.
- Excellent understanding of the sales process.
- Ability to identify customer needs and solve problems.
- Relationship builder, known for being honest and trustworthy.
- Action-oriented; self-starter who doesn’t wait for specific direction.
- Ability to travel overnight up to 10%.
