About the job
This position will support the accounting team with timely completion of month-end close procedures, such as journal entries and reconciliations and reports. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and positivity in a fast-paced environment and will embrace new challenges as learning opportunities.
What you’ll do
- Prepare journal entries and related supporting schedules including but not limited to inventory and revenue
- Keeping accurate records of payments from customers
- Tracking & making deposits to company bank accounts
- Perform monthly credit card reconciliation
- Assist with month-end close procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and flux analysis
- Support documentation requests for financial reporting and audit
- Assist with identifying and implementing process improvements
- Help establish and maintain financial policies and procedures to support new business activities and new reporting requirements
- Perform special ad-hoc projects as needed
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- 3+ years of general ledger experience
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, sumifs, formatting worksheets, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Strong communicative skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to prioritize assignments in order to meet critical deadlines

Actual starting pay for this role is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to qualifications, experience, relevant skills, education, and geographic location.
