Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking an Oracle Developer for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

1. Design & Develop database solutions & enhancements in automating regulatory report generation process for Broker Dealer business
2. Work across business and technology to create the solution intent and architectural vision for large complex solutions and evolve it based on an emerging backlog
3. Performance tuning of the existing application to enable fast and reliable intraday activities for the end users
4. Active contribution to application lifecycle including maintenance, release management, critical bug fixing and ensure error free delivery of the software solution
5. Contribute in the creation of the architecture roadmap of defined domains (Business, Application, Data and Technology) in support of BDFRR roadmap for 2025
6. Work with Product Manager/Owner to plan and prioritize technology focused backlog items for the architecture runway to enable business epics/features and expand into new opportunities
7. Partner well with the Scrum Master, Project Manager, and other Agile team members

Requirements:

1. Hands-on experience in Database development with Oracle 12c/19c with efficient SQL, performance tuning and debugging skills
2. Good understanding of data warehousing tools such as Informatica with efficient data transformation and processing skills
3. Good understanding of Job Schedulers like Autosys, Python programming language and Unix Shell Scripting
4. Domain knowledge of Regulatory reporting
5. A good technical aptitude with an ability to take direction and lead as and when necessary
6. An ability to contribute constructively in open discussions and being able to work with competing ideas to achieve project success with approved ideas
7. Critical thinking and Problem-solving skills
8. Knowledge of Agile Principles
