YOUR OPPORTUNITY

You will join a team of dynamic activation managers across the country while being responsible for achieving the organization’s strategic and commercial goals with a selection of our key off-premises accounts and customers. You will have the tools and support to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, develop customer strategies and business plans, create and sell-in compelling promotional programming, and ensure high quality organization and execution within a designated market.

About You

You have experience working in the Spirits and/or Beverage industry, managing a distributor partner, experience in merchandising or with some other related company. You are familiar with off-premise account personnel and come with existing relationships within various channels including grocery accounts, drug accounts, or large scale club accounts. You are comfortable networking, utilizing your strong interpersonal skills and have a confident presence and pride in yourself and professional appearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With our consumer at the heart your key focus will be:

  1. Manage and strengthen key relationships within a designated list of Off-Premise accounts within your territory through a consultative and influential approach.
  2. Track all activities and consistently submit activity reports in a proprietary reporting tool to supervisor including KPI progress, account visits, trainings, accomplishments, competitive activities, special projects.
  3. Participate in overall market commercial planning which may include weekly and monthly team meetings.
  4. Efficiently manage T&E Budget as well as the monthly activation budget.
  5. Responsible for executing activities to drive sales, ensure execution of programming across the Chain market, help the distributor team secure incremental displays, manage POS, organize and conduct successful market surveys.
  6. Lead meetings with key California Chain Off-Premise accounts within the assigned area to develop strong working relationships.
  7. Present Bacardi brands and work toward achieving increased volumes while building long term business opportunities.
  8. Responsible for sales objectives, including basic account management, secure incremental displays, and program development & execution.
  9. Deliver year-over-year display growth within account list while meeting quarterly KPI’s within your account universe.
  10. Be visible in the field and participate where the opportunity fits our strategy, including the execution of national initiatives in the local market.
  11. Actively participate in promotions and events, which often occur in the evenings or on weekends.
  12. Stay informed of customer and consumer trends and develop programs to capitalize on such trends.
  13. Provide market and competitive brand updates to supervisor to include timely and accurate communication of changing field conditions that may affect volumes as well as staffing changes at distributors and competitors.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The skills and experience needed to create your legacy:

  1. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  2. You will ideally have 2 -3 years of experience working in the Spirits and/or Beverage industry either at a distributor, or experience in the merchandising world.
  3. You are a passionate and influential relationship manager that positions the consumer at the heart of all activities first to achieve results.
  4. You are an influential communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  5. You will have opportunities to display excellent written and verbal communication skills while also being relaxed giving presentations in front of small groups of people including executives, employees, vendors and customers (both internal and external) at all levels of an organization.

  7. Your ability to analyze available information for the purposes of preparing reports, coordinating efforts and solving problems will also be required to be successful in this position.

  9. You are computer proficient working in MS Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and can use advanced computer functions, including navigating the Internet.
  10. You are a highly motivated and have a competitive spirit and want to be on a winning team.
  11. You’re highly organized, can work equally well with a team or by yourself to reach a collective goal.
  12. You are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from those on your team.
  13. You are adaptable as market conditions and consumer trends change.
  14. You are curious about various cultures, can easily find the commonalities between various consumer groups and thrive on working with diverse groups of people.

The base salary range listed for this position is $77,938- $116,748 and the salary within the range will be determined by the successful candidate's location, experience, skillset and other relevant factors.
